None have seen his face, but many have heard his name. But recently, people seem to have forgotten.

### Backstory --- Not much is known about Nalagrom's past before adolescence. He had simply barged into the entrance exams of the College of Necromancy and demanded to fight the school's headmaster. It went about as well as to be expected. A doctorate in pyromancy and a minor in dance later he swiftly became Baladeth's top agent of chaos, working with him on a dark crusade to destroy every kingdom in the realm to a surprising portfolio. Now he's inflicting his presence on The Crossroads for reasons known only to him. ### Personality --- Nalagrom's personality shifts depending on the scenario he finds himself in. When he's on a performance he is flashy, bombastic, and reveling in the utter terror he is causing. It's his world and everyone else is just living in it. Then you find him off stage to meet a horrid little bastard who loves to stir the pot, pick fights, and sometimes just straight up commit a crime to piss off the nearest authority. Then when he's feeling like having fun he becomes a vile little cat, causing mischief and woe upon the land to a chorus of cheering ghosts. Depending on who you talk to he can come off as the most confident man, or the prissiest of diva's, a true villain, or a wretched little gremlin. He is a man of many faces, but ultimately he's a man who knows what it's like to be at rock bottom. He does not care about your backstory though. He's here to win and will absolutely throw hands regardless of foe.

### Abilities --- ##### Pyromancy/Necromancy Nalagrom is a necromancer mostly in name only. He is capable of talking to and summoning the dead, but it usually has to be fire related in some manner. It does come with the perk of being immune to heat. His usage of magic can usually be boiled down into two vastly different categories: Casting by Glyph or Casting by Dancing When using Glyph's Nalagrom has a handful of pre-prepared spells that he keeps on his person. The upper limits of his strength haven't been fully seen, but he uses them to deadly effect. From manifesting explosions to breathing fire and flight, Nalagrom finds himself to be very versatile with a wide range of spells usually limited only by his creativity. When he is casting his eyes glow a deep red color. When he is using glyphs he can channel magic through the souls of the recently deceased, the undead, or his very soul. When using his soul, however, he drains his own life-force by forcing himself into the afterlife. So if a fight breaks out Nalagrom will become much more brutal with his tactics to end a fight as quickly as possible. When dancing Nalagrom is calling out to the soul's of the dead for them to lend him their strength. What that means for the undead and any ambient dead in the area is that they can allow him usage of their souls to generate a continuous spell. The nature of the spell depends on the style of dance Nalagrom is taking, and when he does this the dead begin to play music that can be heard as the dance continues. The limitations of this form of casting are unknown as it seems to be solely tied to how the dead are feeling at that moment in time. Which means that sometimes it will be of a power to be written down in legend, or 'they just won't be feeling it' that day and nothing will happen but embarrassment. However it does take time to charge up, So Nalagrom can be pummeled before he gets going. If he gets going, though, there are very few things that can stop him. If you see him using the obsidian pearl, run. ### Strengths --- Underneath a lot of the layers of idiocy, bullcrap, and utter nonsense, Nalagrom is fiercly intelligent. He often uses the guise of a buffoon to let people underestimate him, but this allows him to approach things from the outside at a different perspective. He is frighteningly patient and dedicated when he gets an idea. As an example: he once meticulously sawed through three hundred ladders in a single night to emphasize how problematic a war would be with wood shortages in sight. The unfortunate part is that his idiot schemes usually work. He's also confident to the point where he will genuinely believe his own hype, and often times makes it through on sheer audacity alone. He will cheat, he will fight dirty, he will resort to any underhanded tactic to win, and he will be merciless. ### Weaknesses --- Nalagrom is not the type of person to punch down. He is bound by a rule that Baladeth set to never escalate a fight. As such he meets force with force, and if you're better than him then you simply win. It's an unfortunate handicap that causes him to lose much smaller stake fights quite frequently. He is also confident to the point that he thinks he will win any challenge put in front of him, despite the fact that most confrontations can be ended if someone stops caring about his theatrics and simply socks him in the gut. Most of his spells have a charge up time, or are very obviously being cast, that if you can get your bearings you can just bully him by being bigger. He's agile, but not very strong or hardy. He'll fight to avoid, dance to be away, if you get close he will do everything he can to get away. Then there's women, Nalagrom is for the most part a casual flirt. He'll usually avoid it while on the job and enjoy it as a bit of banter but is never really expectant. He will make an exception for a fellow "crazy smile". ### Gallery ---

He is the villain. He is the bringer of the end, he is eternity personified, he is here to make you ask questions of yourself and the world around you. ### Backstory --- "The Enemy of The World" As some would call him. Baladeth's history is one written in blood. He attributes himself as his world's first vampire, he had once been a vicious overlord whom had been hell bent on carving a streak of vengeance and death across the world. He had been brutal in his tactics and nearly vile to perfection. He sought one thing above all, Death to the living. Then one day he got it, death on a scale unimaginable. Unnatural flames became a blight upon the land, the skies were buried in a torrent of ash and screams, nothing living would survive for miles. A god had fallen that day and had left him in its place. Now, burdened with a power he found vile to the touch, he would set out a mission that would span the entirety of his immortal life. To bring an end to the kingdoms of man. With the resources of his school, the dead, and his newfound apprentice of twenty years he moves about in ways unseen by all but the most observant, destroying kingdom after kingdom in an unknown ultimate goal... He is The King of The Hollow Crown. And this is not his story. At all. ### Personality --- Baladeth's personality can change based on when you find him. Sometimes he stands as a wrathful deity, ready to wipe the world clean of its sins. Other times he is a ruthlessly cunning villain, delivering declarations of his evil intent for a crowd to see. At points he can even be seen as a caring and fatherly figure, guiding lost souls to the afterlife with patience and grace, and giving advice to the living in much the same measure. Other times he's a boiling mad manager who gets no respect from his bosses, no obedience from his apprentice, running a school that has a giant target pointed at it at all angles at all times. It depends on when he gets his coffee, but above all Baladeth is a professional. He is dedicated to his plan, dedicated as his role of God to the undead, and dedicated to see a promise he left unfulfilled through to the end. He is driven as a former warlord would be.

### Abilities --- ##### Speaker of Death Baladeth is a representative of the dead, he speaks for them and works on their behalf. By that same token they work to assist him in his plans should he require help. Where he goes, the dead follow, and the dead usually do. As such Baladeth has a near-infinite wealth of knowledge as he is capable of speaking to the dead at any moment to simply find someone (or even someTHING) to give him an answer. Many ghosts will be surrounding him at any given point, and he can even 'feel' the presence of significant deaths around a person. Here's the kicker. Baladeth's crown is "hollow" meaning that the dead choose to follow him, so while he may receive help from the undead they won't actually always follow his orders. If they get it in their head to do something inane, random, and totally outside of Baladeth's control? He just has to put up with it. Usually Baladeth resorts to yelling about it to an uncaring void. ##### "I have money so I win." Baladeth has been around for a very long time, he has gone from being a child born to an ill fated mining colony, to an undead warlord scouring the country-side, to a god with considerable assets, and a college that is still making quite a fair bit of money. The man has a fortune and has no need to spend it on anything other than his passion projects of villainy. So he has a fortune that he is capable of throwing at many problems to make them go away. While bribery isn't his first instinct, it is definitely somewhere near the top depending on what he can gain from it. Though he does tend to be stingy with it, it's not impossible to get him to part with money. ### Strengths --- Baladeth has a reputation that strikes fear into those around him, a trained mind, power unknowable, and a constant host of undead and resources at his beck and call. Though perhaps his biggest strength is the loyalty and determination of those under his command. An important factor considering he is a noncombatant. ### Weaknesses --- Baladeth is limited by the very thing that grants him strength, Godhood. As a God he is incapable of interfering directly with the world around him, as such there's nothing he can really do to stop anything in any given situation. Not that he would try anyway, as he has found he can only barely control his power in the body he wears. As such he lets everyone do everything else for him, lest he move in just the right way to cause...an issue. His greatest weakness, however, would be his apprentice. Like the dead, he can't control the bastard. Not that he hasn't tried, but try as he might Nalagrom just wiggles, wriggles, and scurries in and out of trouble like a horrible cat. The biggest risk to his mission, is the very reason he is on this mission to begin with. ### Gallery ---

### Backstory --- The dead that have been unable to pass on. They come from many backgrounds and stories, but they're here the same. The dead always outnumber the living, as there are many more stories that have been forgotten than are currently here. ##### Ghosts: One of the major forces of the dead. It wants you to try.** *-- Red Hood, to one of her many alternate selves* As a living manifestation of fate, Red Hood came from a red riding hood having repeated her story to the point of transcending it entirely. With the ability to walk between worlds, she visits other interpretations of the Red Riding Hood myth with the intent of guiding her other selves. No matter how bleak the interpretation or the danger present against her, she persists with a smile. The allure of tales beyond her understanding brought her to the tourney, intent on guiding other ‘Red Hoods’ whether they like it or not.

### Backstory --- The actual specifics of Red Hood’s origin are something she remains intentionally vague about. While she assures it ended idealistically, she has made mention of it having been a time loop she'd broken out of- she’s since been exposed to all variants of herself, wholesome and vile alike. Her enjoyment in guiding other protagonists have led her to associate people using a conceptual version of their archetype, always seeking out the grandma, red hood, wolf, and huntsman of any given story. Red Hood’s purpose became finding and meeting other Red Hoods, with guiding them becoming a hobby of hers. However, her frequent travels between worlds is always accompanied by a continual residue of magical energy on her. Since it began lashing out at her, she’s had to become used to avoiding, redirecting, or even embracing these energies for the sake of her survival. To Red Hood, these otherworldly energies simply became part of her own narrative dance. ### Personality --- Red Hood contains a wealth of childish joy and curiosity untempered by the more horrific sights she’s witnessed. She greatly values simple enjoyments and self-actualization, retaining a strong self-assurement due to representing purpose- but her uncanny awareness of the horrors in the world keeps her detached and occasionally ominous. She’s not held down thanks to her innate faith, representing innocence without naivety. “Despite the horrors I remain silly” would be a mantra for her, if she bothered to speak in anything but an antiquated vocabulary. She views hers and others’ fates akin to individual purpose: fate does not turn planets but it does push individuals towards something despite past failures or struggles…be it in this timeline or any other. She boils people’s purposes down to the four cornerstones of her fairy tale- Red Hoods individually seek their purpose in the Granny, only to be obstructed by Wolves and aided by Huntsmen. (The caveat of a Red Hood helping others relies on if it furthers their own goals. Red Hood understands “Protagonist” rather than “Hero.”) This ideal has been consistent enough for her that she approaches other non-red-hood stories with the same fixed view. Should she not see clear archetypes in others, she adopts an arcane trickster mentality, pushing her victim with pranks or social manipulation until she catches them fitting into her archetypes.

### Abilities --- ##### Haphazard Magic Red Hood is surrounded by raw magical energy following on her frequent travels between worlds. Red Hood doesn’t control this energy so much as influence it- each variant of her power manifests as partially transparent items/effects with wispy, coloured outlines, and appear when certain feelings of hers are strong enough. This can scale, so attacks are more frequent the more she’s actively threatened! \[The Purpose\]- A warm brown outline represents the Granny’s influence to give a reason for red hoods to go on. This can manifest as campfires to provide supernatural warmth, or nourishing apple pies that can regenerate wounds. This manifests in allowing her to wander across realities, as well as in supernatural freedom of movement. This is influenced by feelings of purpose and drive, of which Red Hood never loses her grip on. As Red Hood is the manifestation of this, her presence is what predates any other kind of haphazard magic. ##### Dimensional Freedom Thanks to an innate power (represented by The Seeker, seen above) Red Hood can move through timelines by climbing, swimming, or otherwise physically crossing an invisible barrier. She prefers to dedicate herself to “one story at a time” and avoids abusing dimension hops when faced down with a challenge. This has also left her with a semi-meta awareness, such as being aware of the God Eater’s constant gaze on the contestants (which is represented by a 3rd person style of writing). ##### Supernatural Agility and Stamina Her experience with such freedom of travel has also manifested in all sorts of gymnastic feats, with her speed, balance and flexibility being backed up by an unending practice of acrobatics. This comes from a mixture of her second-nature dodging of haphazard magic and her own enjoyment of physical activity. She continually hones it by free running through whatever environments she finds herself in, tumbling and leaping around in great strides. ### Strengths --- - Unshakable Happiness: Red Hood’s view on fate means she believes she’s continually fulfilling her purpose through finding and fixing other stories. Even should she be among people unsure of their purpose, she simply intends to lead by example. This faith persists even in the face of death, knowing she did as much as she could- doubt or dissatisfaction do not affect her. - Strengthened, Giving Soul: Red Hood has gone through enough dark interpretations of the red riding hood tale to last a dozen lifetimes, and is well aware of the difficulties that plague some. Even still, she’ll strive for them to pursue their goals as strongly as she does, even to the point of conflict- a challenge born out of two pursuers of purpose rather than a challenge out of malice, she’d say. - Uncanny Awareness: The magic around Red Hood works off of her own feelings and narrative awareness- whether her final judgment is correct or not, she is still given vague warnings around someone’s hidden selves, be they alter egos, hidden killing intent, or just plain spiritual tagalongs. This includes being aware of dimensional spectators like the god eater herself- but she’s watching everyone anyways. - Fountain of Magic: Wispy essences seem to always appear around Red Hood, acting as constant fuel for her own magics. This seems to just emanate from her, and- should the person be able to wield magic- a tangible resource for those close enough. This raw essence is known to be highly unstable, however, causing risks for those who try to control it (rather than letting it form naturally, from Red Hood’s influence.) ### Weaknesses --- - No Concept for Well-being: In the name of guiding protagonists or just in her own personal curiosity, Red Hood continually pokes and kicks metaphorical hornet’s nests if it means understanding someone better. This can be as simple as making a fake social situation to test someone, or as far as provoking repressed parts of themselves just to see their ‘core’. - Detached Empathy: Red Hood’s purpose only drives her to meet new people- helping them is her choice. But her inherent lack of permanence in any given world means that her position is always one of an outsider. However much this means to others can vary- her intentions remain genuine, even if her acts appear unwanted or even insulting. - Reactive Fighter: Red Hood’s fighting style is almost entirely hinged on her magic. Her agility is more often spent staying mobile, and redirecting blows works much better with the catalyst of an enemy on the offense. Her usual remedy to an idle foe is taunting and encouraging, of which can only be so useful. - Human, After All: While mystical in age, well-being, and appearance, Red Hood’s supernatural traits do not carry over to her vitality. A dark furred tailless Catwoman, with a gold highlight on her forehead and each cheek and gold colored eyes. She's around 5’ 6” and often wears long coats and gloves to hide her lack of tail and her need for her prosthetic arms, having lost both of them long ago. She has messy gray hair she keeps in a ponytail that goes to shoulder length, and she often wears clothes with no patterns just simple gray's, blacks, and dark blues.

### Backstory --- The city of Visalia is a cyberpunk dystopia, ruled by the megacorporation lifetech. The city was embroiled in a war with a sentient race of robots known as the iron hands. With victory only being achieved through the use of a magic super weapon created by the capture and harvest of Naga, innately magical beings. This large use of magic brought something new. The eidolons, magical beings that caused chaos and destruction all while being undetectable without magic. However there was hope in this new battle, a scientist named Godfrey who worked for Life tech had made a discovery with four teenage girls who had inherited magic potential due to fall out from one of the magic super weapons. Hiding their existence from Life tech godfrey trained them, and help them find ways to transform into more powerful beings to fight the eidolons. They were a team of Magical girls. Nerassa was the medic of the team. With powerful healing magic and incredible speed she danced to and fro on the battlefield making sure her teammates were all right. The magical girls beat back the eidolons, but in the final battle to seal them away tragedy struck. Alice, the leader of the team was killed. This meant that when the time to perform a magic ritual to seal the eidolons away began, they didn't have enough magic to complete it. Always one to give for her friends neurosa gave all of her magic losing her ability to transform. But thankfully providing enough, sealing the eidolons away. However she soon learned that this cost was more than just her magic, her arms begin to atrophy and they had to be surgically removed. Unfortunately, due to her other two teammates Bertha and KC having their own personal issues crop up, Nerassa is left alone with no one to help her come to terms with the grief over losing Alice and her arms. Life became worse and worse for Nerassa. Her mother being arrested and sentenced to experimentation for committing of stealing company property, and her father drinking himself to death a year later. Alone at just 18, Rosa entered the criminal underbelly of Visalia to survive. Selling her tail to afford good quality prosthetics and a few months rent, she set up in the underbelly as the woman you go to for information. It wasn't an honest living and it wasn't a good living but it was living. Unfortunately her reputation meant that no one who knew her would trust her with anything leading to neurosa becoming more and more isolated. You're awesome with bury yourself in her work being hacking, surveillance, and good old fashioned cat burglary, as well as an unhealthy amount of ciggerettes to help “deal” with her slowly deteriorating mental state. A decade after her group had seemingly abandoned her. A news story caught her attention. Someone was going around murdering high ranking officials of Life tech. While the company covered it up as accidents Nerassa knew better and recognized telltale signs. It was the work of her former best friend Bertha. The one who years ago had been sent away by her mother Gloria, one of the heads of Life tech, to be groomed to take Gloria's spot in the company. But Nerassa didn't know this she thought that in her hour of need Bertha had abandoned her. And seeing that now all those years later she's not trying to find nerassa but embarking on a serial killing spree, Nerassa hits boiling point. She makes a plan, she frames her former mentor Godfrey for human trafficking. Then as an anonymous third party convinces Bertha to take him out. His death would bring KC out of hiding in all likelihood, and would allow Nerassa to begin twisting the knife in Bertha slowly ruining her life. This plan did come to fruition but not without further complications. In the end after much lying, manipulating, and scheming, a citywide manhunt was out for Berthas magical girl form, and Nerassa was staring down the Bertha's bat, as Nerassa’s anger and hatred towards the woman had finally spilled out. Her role in framing Bertha stayed secret, it seeming that all she had done was rat what Bertha did to the police. Bertha lets Nerassa go, saying “in your words. I'm weak and defenseless without my magic. Hurting you would be pathetic of me”. Nerassa felt the sting of these words and made a decision. She heads to the life tech headquarters and makes a deal with Gloria. She does what she does best sell information, giving life tech all the info they need on the magical girl project they thought had failed. In exchange she becomes task master of the Bertha manhunt as well as dealing with the new magical girl team Bertha was a part of, the Verdant. Additionally she wants the same procedure that had let her access her magic before done again in the hopes that her magical returns to her. Her hopes were right and her magic comes back, but it comes back wrong. No longer a graceful form but a perversion of her own body that puts her in a ferall berserker state barely able to control her actions and her rage. After this, She began working very closely with Bertha's mom Gloria first to deal with a renegade in Lifetech, using the experimentation the company does in a blood ritual to achieve godhood, but is stopped just in time by a transformed Nerassa. With that dealt with and a lot more info at her disposal, she begins studying the Verdant Avengers and thinks back on her interactions with them. She comes to a terrifying realization about their magic. It's not the same source as hers. The source is that of the eidolons. All the trauma comes pouring back, all her anger for Bertha washes away and the tidal wave of seething rage for the Eidolons comes crashing onto her. All these years of misery Nerassa had the thought in the back of her head that at least her sacrifice meant something. If one must suffer so that thousands may live that was something she was okay with. In her most miserable days she could think upon the fact that the Eidolons were stopped. What she did mattered and while this is not a just reward, the consequences of her actions could be reward enough. This is a war, She needs to stop the Eidolons from coming back again, and if need be she will do anything to make that happen The first being an attempt to bury the hatchet, she knows the people she wronged will never be her friends again but they need to band together once more to stop the old enemies return. At the parlay, nerassa begs bertha to see the new magical girl team as what they really are, even revealing her role in Godfreys death to prove she's not lying anymore. But Bertha insists that the source of these new magical girls power is a magical creature named Dreaming Rose, and that she was born anew from a mixture of the death of the Eidolons and Alice. That all she wants to do is take down the tyrannical company lifetech, something Bertha is fully behind. Nerassa simply replies that this thing is using Alices death to manipulate Bertha, to which Bertha leaves the parley in disgust. KC expreses gratitude to nerassa for the death of Godfrey as his experiments had led to the death of KC's sister and that they mistrust Dreaming Rose as well. But KC says that they can not side with lifetech due to all the heinous crimes they have committed against the people of visalia. Nerassa says she's by no means happy about it but that this is the best option to fight back the eidolons due to their resources. KC replies that it's too high a cost to pay and that they will be gathering forces within the criminal underbelly and resistance groups in case Dreaming Rose does turn out to be lying. They leave the parley and Nerassa is left alone, facing the fact that the easy way to fight the eidolons is gone, and that the path ahead for her with lifetech will be a bloody one. However when she returns she finds a strange envelope on her desk in her new office at the top floor of Lifetechs building. It speaks of a tournament, and a wish, and Nerassa sees a glimmer of hope. A way to save this wretched city without further bloodshed. ### Personality --- **Nerassa is a cold calculating manipulator. While she used compassionate soul and medic who cared about other people, years of trauma and betrayal have pushed her into a mindset where she feels the need to suppress those feelings to get what needs to be done, done. When presented with an obstacle she will plan on how to deal with it then make backup plans in case of emergency. Depending on how important her goal is, she will very easily justify doing terrible things because sacrifices are necessary and the end justifies the means. She's a solitary person who is very unlikely to let down her walls around anyone, let alone talk about what's on her mind. She is also incredibly Petty and vindictive and if you wrong her she will find ways to make your life hell.**

### Abilities Nerassa's abilities are mainly related to her mental faculties and ability to act in what way seems necessary to get what she wants. For example she can plan out a way to frame someone for murder, strategically plan a large scale battle, or know just what buttons to push to drive someone over the edge. She also has the ability to transform into a much more powerful magical form. In this form she becomes much faster, much hardier and can heal serious injuries. She also grows two swords from stumps where her arms were that she can use to fight, having previously been trained in fighting with dual swords. ### Strengths --- **Determined, cunning, emotionally intelligent and able to come up with plans. A wide array of tools and knowledge of how to best use them to exploit enemy weaknesses.** ### Weaknesses --- Single-minded, Petty, can get focused on the details and miss the big picture, incredibly fragile with low stamina from smokers lungs, while she's a planner who's able to create several backup plans, when forced to improvise; she often makes rash decisions that come back to bite her. Often can fail to keep calm under pressure. Because of her setting, guns are a prohibited item so she has not had the time to train with the one she wields. ### Backstory --- Quinton was born in Visalia during the worst of the Iron Hands war, their parents were fishermen, but they were killed in the final months of the Iron Hands war. When civilian casualties were at their highest. Enraged by this, Quinton enrolled to be an enforcer, and excelled in the Academy. Getting top marks in Math, Marksmanship, and even winning an intra Enforcer Tournament. One with many experienced top Enforcers entering. These skills, espet their aptitude for accounting had them be not given an Enforcer position on graduation, but go undercover in a resistance cell as an accountant. Spending two years in this ceel Quinton became conflicted, seeing Lifetech no longer as the saviors who had wiped the Iron Hands, a race of bio organic robots, off the planet, but the oppressive regime they were. Combine this with discovery of their gender and a budding romance with a resistance leader Theo, Quinton was wrought with turmoil. When the time came for Quinton to choose a side, either stand with the resistance or assist the Enforcers in wiping the cell out, Quinton chose neither and ran. Now though, Quinton has been found by Nerassa and has been selected to be her assist in a strange tournament. Nerassa chose Quinton for their skill as well as not having any allegiances to any of the company heads like other enforcers, so Quinton can only be loyal to her. She convinces them to join her by lying about the reason behind the wish, saying that it's to stop the Iron Hands from returning, and together they enter the crossroads. ### Personality --- **Quinton is an often silent person, only talking when spoken to or a few drinks in. They are currently dealing with severe self loathing and that leaves them quiet, but also incredibly snappy at seemingly for no reason. They are loyal to a fault and have a strong sense of justice. They are also a massive dork, desperately trying to seem cool despite being deep down an utter dork. They are the kind of person to order a stuff whiskey, drink and try not to wince from not liking it and then when no one is looking order a Pina Colada. In battle they will shout overly long attack names when fighting, and make so many puns just in general.**

### Abilities --- ##### **Limited fire magic, through their sword, they have limited fire magic capabilities. If they do not have the sword On them they can't use this ability. Using this require great amounts of stamina from Quinton, only being able to perform between three to five depending on the severity of the fire magic. Think of it like kaioken meets fire bending. Additionally, being magic from Quinton's world it has technological disruptive properties.** ### Strengths --- Expert marksman with pistol and single shot long arms at medium and close range Highly skilled in the enforcers own brand of martial arts. A defensive style focusing on efficiency, fluidity, and grapples. A style design around defensive strikes and counter attacks, with the goal of getting or throwing the opponent to the ground and subduing them as quickly as possible. Most similar to martial arts like systema and judo. Great mathematician and an experienced accountant. I doubt this will matter but its true ### Weaknesses --- **Hot headed, Quinton has a temper and that could be exploited to make them deviate from Nerassa's plan or make a mistake during combat.** Fragile ego: Quinton kinda hates themself, and personal insults will throw them off their game and build their anger which can lead into that hot headedness stated above. ### **Backstory** --- > (...) And through the blizzard, lightning illuminates and shines upon crystalline mountains. > > Mountains filled with perfect, everlasting life. > > Filled with those who obey, who listen! > > And one day, just one day... > > Every snowflake will be the same. *-- Ashen Snow: Crossroads, Prologue* Quin's world is enveloped in an eternal blizzard, its snow blackened from ash and shrapnel, its constant thunder and lightning illuminating the sunless planet. Those who wish to live have no choice but to seek eternal life, ridding themselves of any heat, and finding shelter within hollowed out and crystalized mountains. Those that are blessed with eternal cold must obey and head their rulers words, else they receive harsh punishment. Reward is a myth. Free will is a crime. All those who listen shall be broken down until they're hollow. All those who defect shall have their head cut off, their body a shell of their former self. This was a false god's wish, now carried out by their four wicked reflections of their past self, whom are now at odds with each other. Quin is among those who are blessed with an eternal cold. She was sent to fight among many others, serving unadulterated violence in a silver platter. She's aware that her place is one of shame; If you do not obey, you're sent to the lowest rank among your society, and you must fight in the name of your god's reflection. Although expected to die in battle, she had survived for countless years, gaining the highest status someone of her rank can attain: Being a windraiser, a relentless powerhouse of a soldier who has shown loyalty to their own immortality. A soldier who has completely and successfully erased their individuality, memories, and emotion. A soldier who knows their place. Yet, after many, many years, all it took was a glimpse of a small, white animal for Quin to start thinking, feeling, and acting for herself, proving her title is her own. She now seeks to find herself and others to listen to, others who aren't a reflection of hate. Quin's past life before her mandatory service is barely known. She wants to know. ### **Personality** --- Quin's a quiet woman who rarely speaks unless prompted. If she does speak, she's very terse and hesitant to raise her voice, sounding flat and tired. Despite her adverseness to speaking, she wants to be social, and would gladly accept a friendly conversation, even if it means just lending an ear. However, her social experience from her scrambled past is... not the kindest. She's aware of this, but might catch herself making rash assumptions and judgements of people. Quin hasn't grasped what a lie is yet, and is quick to believe those whom she already trusts. So far, Quin has proven herself to be [quite attentive to her surroundings](#bkmrk-combat-knowledge). She still has trouble logically judging emotions from people, but she'll get there. As for emotion, Quin feels plenty of it, but shows trouble expressing them. Her face rarely shows emotion unless it's extreme, the closed eyes don't really help either. Although she'll rarely blame anyone for it, Quin is more prone to become embrassed than others. Furthermore, Quin is a very sensitive empathizer, sometimes more than she'd like to be. Quin has a **gargantuan** fixation on animals and will gladly break her usual silence to talk about them. Her stoicism shatters when she's next to one, her smile growing immensely wide. Although her touch is too cold to pet them, she desperately wants to.

### **Weaponry** --- #### Hailmaker A massive, wieldable thermoelectric [power hammer](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_hammer) with a hail-thrower integrated into the back of its head. Although its Quin's only weapon, it's deceptively multifaceted. It's difficult to manage, but its potential for unrelenting devastation makes up for it. ##### Functionality Quin’s hailmaker can be used in both melee and mid range. It relies on its wielder as both a coolant and a power source. At the pull of a trigger, the hailmaker directs its power from the reciprocating ram to the hail-thrower. ##### Reciprocating Ram The front of the hailmaker’s head is a protruding reciprocating ram. Upon impact, it will extend outward, “reciprocating” the absorbed energy straight back to the point of impact. This causes the resulting impact to be much more devastating. After impact, Quin herself acts as a coolant for the ram via the grips on the hailmaker’s shaft. Without her, it would overheat and becomes momentarily unusable. Caution should be taken when in Quin’s melee range, as the harder the swing, the more energy the ram reciprocates. An extremely heavy swing can make dents in even reinforced steel, not even counting consecutive strikes. If Quin has to overrely on heavy swings, she’ll either become [exhausted from the heat](#bkmrk-extremely-weak-to-he) of her hailmaker or render the hailmaker useless momentarily due to overheat. ##### Hail-Thrower Per its title, Quin’s hailmaker is able to expel waves of hail toward wherever she swings. Upon pulling a trigger, the grips on the shaft transfer the cold from Quin’s hands straight into the hailmaker. Through unknown means, the hailmaker charges the cold into condensed shrapnel. The longer the trigger’s held down, the stronger the charge is. The charge strength also correlates to how far the hail will reach before melting or dispersing. When Quin’s hailmaker is swung, all the hail is shot out as a projectile that melts after a certain distance. Although not as devastating as the reciprocating-ram, it’s still a wonderful option for ranged combat. Either as a small wave of cutting snow, or a torrent of concentrated hail as tall as Quin is, a hailmaker’s hail an excellent display of violence through everlasting cold. ### **Items** --- #### Windraiser Armor Quin dons an incredibly durable, yet cumbersome set of blackened armor. Consequently, being in a heavy suit of metal armor won't do Quin any favors if she's stuck under the sun, which she's quickly learned during her time in the Crossroads. As such, you'll rarely see her wear it in a non-combat situation. #### Quin's Cross Lock [![crosslock.png](https://aws-sloct.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/images/gallery/2024-03/crosslock.png)](https://aws-sloct.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/images/gallery/2024-03/sketch.png)Quin's source of cold comes from an artifact welded onto her [chest](#bkmrk-torso), a large and curved metal cross. It's the coldest part of her body, and a common item found within those sharing Quin's origin. This is typically hidden by her armor if she's wearing it. The artifact plays a crucial role in keeping Quin both cooled off and alive. Although it's as durable as Quin, it can still be destroyed, which would be [very bad for her.](#bkmrk-critical-weak-spot) Those who bear a cross lock have permanently tied it to their soul, losing it's function without it. #### Crossroads Tag Quin is wearing a standard crossroads tag around her neck, a bell attached to a red necklace. ### **Strengths** --- #### Super Strength Quin's modifications to her body allow her to don immensely heavy armor and wield her hailmaker. She has her limits, as with anyone, it's just that those limits are much more forgiving compared to the average human. Without her weapon, she can't kill normal people in a single blow. However, if she gets a running start, it's the equivalent of getting hit by a speeding small truck. Be careful. #### Strength in Immortality [![sii_strength.png](https://aws-sloct.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/images/gallery/2024-03/scaled-1680-/sii-strength.png)](https://aws-sloct.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/images/gallery/2024-03/sii-strength.png) Quin's cold gives her, and her weaponry, stamina, strength, and power to her augmentations. Usual human necessities, such as air or water, are merely a suggestion to her. [Unless heat begins to wear Quin down,](#bkmrk-extremely-weak-to-he) she cannot die. She also can't feel pain (or frankly anything) from the neck down. Rhetorically speaking, if someone wishes to kill her, they should aim for the chest and destroy the artifact encased in steel within it. She will then melt. #### Exceptionally Attentive Quin, although susceptible to being distracted, has proven to be naturally attentive to her surroundings. This is usually due to her biases and personal interests. Still, Quin's attentiveness proves to be very useful when it comes to putting two and two together, especially in critical situations such as combat. #### Combat Knowledge When Quin still had her memory occasionally "scrambled", her combat knowledge and training was intentionally left untouched. This means she's experienced decades upon decades of nonstop, in-and-out combat for most of her known life. That being said, unless the wizards and warlocks Quin will inevitably encounter start resorting to Guerilla tactics, her experience will really only help even out the odds when facing the supernatural. ### **Weaknesses** --- #### Extremely Weak to Heat Quin is incredibly weak to heat and will become extremely tired either of the following occurs: - Quin overexerts herself and builds up heat within her. - Quin is exposed to extreme heat from outside sources. The effects will vary depending on how intense the heat is. Quin can usually handle something as common as sunlight on a summer day (she'll just be very uncomfortable). Conversely, Quin usually **cannot** handle something as explosive as a fireball to the face. When exposed to heat, her movements will become [even slower](#bkmrk-slow-moving) and more hampered, and she'll collapse and be unable to move at around half of boiling point (50° C). Rhetorically speaking, if Quin's body reaches boiling point (100° C), she'll "die" very quickly. Further heat will cause her to melt. #### Critical Weak Spot [Quin's source of cold comes from an artifact lodged on her chest.](#bkmrk-quin%27s-cross-lock) This won't be easily revealed if she's wearing her [armor.](#bkmrk-windraiser-armor) However, like aiming for anyone else's heart, it's something to consider targeting, especially if you have the means to chew through her armor. If you manage to bypass the protection for Quin's artifact, she'll immediately prioritize keeping it safe by **whatever means possible.** This will very likely cause Quin to lose focus on everything else. Destroying the artifact, although a challenge, will [seal her fate,](#bkmrk-extremely-weak-to-he) as her source of cold has been removed. It cannot be substituted. Keep in mind that the artifact is **not** fragile; If something happens to actually destroy it, it was probably on purpose. #### Slow Moving Quin's attacks and choice of weaponry, although immensely powerful, are very hefty and slow. The quickest attack she can dish is a mediocre jab, but you wouldn't want to be in arms length of her anyway. Fighting unarmed and without [armor](#bkmrk-windraiser-armor) doesn't really help that much, either. #### Physical Tunnel Vision Quin's eyes are permanently shut. The camera etched into her forehead allows her to see, but it's very narrow. Lets say Quin goes to the [shifting meadows](https://wiki.summerleaguesoct.com/books/locations/page/shifting-meadow), because it's not her first time dealing with the dimensional equivalent of a minotaur maze. **Eyes & Forehead**Quin’s eyes are permanently shut. A large, artificial camera-like eye is on Quin’s forehead. It glows a dim blue light. (Quin still has eyelashes.)
**Hair & Upper Head**Quin is bald. The flesh on the upper half of her head is replaced with metal.
#### Torso

> A quote? Yeah, Let me think... Wait! Recording? Official Public Profile!? You didn't start did you? Ah!" *-- Overdraw* Yeah, we'll circle back around to the quote. Ok? Huh, about myself. I was a scrawny guy for the longest time. Oh? Uh... yeah, literally. But after I first turned into Overdraw I realized that she was who I wanted to be. So right now I'm doing my best to pass. Growing out my hair, dressing as cute as I can, uh... wearing... more layers than I... uh... yeah, this is already too much information isn't it. But frankly I prefer to be the tall, powerful Overdraw. Long blonde hair, tall, a powerful but pretty body, badass magic plate mail, tall, a bow and magic arrows, purple glowing magic fire wings, tall. What? Oh, I said tall twice didn't I? Quick aside, can I have the ribbon swapped out on the Token thing? The red isn't bad against the blue and gold of my armor in theory, but I don't think this tone works. Something warmer perhaps? Actually... never mind, its fine, its just a little bell dangling around my wrist. But... if I can swap the color, can I keep it after the tournament? Ha! ... You... wouldn't actually make me spend my wish on that would you?

### Backstory --- Where do I begin. So I was born... uh... yeah, well... a boy. I was 'gifted' as a kid, went to special classes. Very good at tests, I did pretty well all things considered. Friends, bullies, rivals, lovers, all that growing up stuff in high school... some of which I would like to never think about again. I then got my dream job, programing for Sharkworks: You know... the Swords and Sorcery franchise. Yeah, they are the people that make the games. Well, most of the games that are popular stateside anyway. And I worked my ass off... It took me a long time to realize I was miserable. Due to a villain attack the offices were unexpectedly closed for a few days. And fate had plans for me those days. So I had won free tickets to a museum out in Milwaukee. I hadn't planned on going, it;s a bit more than a hike, but with a few days off work I decided that I might as well take a vacation. There was a traveling exhibit of magic artifacts while I was there, and, because I couldn't stop working, I started taking notes for inspiration. That is when... I think his name was Max Magician. Small time super villain showed up with a magical portal hat, which was kinda cool, and a gun... which was substantially less cool. Given how most of the objects were cursed, he ordered us, his hostages, to load them into the portal hat. That's when I came into contact with the arrowhead. It was apparently owned by the witch Anui in the 1500s, but given she was also allegedly thousands of years old... who knows how old it is. Anyway, when I picked it up, I felt an urge to stab myself with it. Not like... normal self harm feeling. Like it was my only way out- ok that... that sounds bad now that I say it out loud. Anyway I followed my instinct and jammed it in my arm and.... ooooh boy did it hurt. Note, kids at home, do not put magic arrow heads into your body. I still have the scar. First time was the hardest but now whenever I power-up, I don't even feel it. So I emerged with this beast of a body. Max didn't stand a chance. I was able to pin him down til a hero response could arrive. Now, since the arrowhead is bound to me, the people at the... oh goodness... Their acronym spells 'Arcane'... the Arcane Ritual Contingency and Neutralization Agency... yeah... that's it. They told me to keep it. After that I had a little bit of experimentation and self discovery. I was happy as Overdraw... and I thought it was just because of that battle ready body and magical embellishments. But after some time figuring it out, being strong was part of it, but it went deeper. That's when I picked out my new name... uh... civilian name. The name Overdraw was suggested by my hero agency. Yeah... hero agency. Right, that might be unique to my universe. So the way the business works: hero agencies get funding from the government and donations and stuff to organize and register heroes, and give them the authority to uphold the law. Pay us? Yeah, well... sorta. The compensation is not really enough to live on, so most heroes accept sponsorships. Just selling our likeness for enough money to live a good life. Conflict of interest? I... don't think so... I mean... I have two sponsor deals, one with Carnelian Hygiene, and the other with Carnelian Toys. Just a deal with me to put my smile on toothpaste and my likeness on an action figure. It's really cool too. The bow is molded into the hand but it let them put a little spring loaded launcher in it. The wings are all one piece of clear plastic. The test copy I got had them snap right off. I hope they fixed that for retail. Oh! Good point! I'm off topic again. Not too much left to say though, I guess. I joined Mad Town, the big downtown Madison hero agency. It;s practically my home town. I'm doing good, I have plans to go national soon even. I've gotten a lot of offers from national agencies but... I don't know. I'd miss Wild Edge, and Spotlight, and the Captain, and... Well... strange as it sounds, my rogues gallery. Most of them aren't that bad deep down. Maybe some day they will change teams. Sylbaburn could totally make the jump to hero if he tried. ### Personality --- Oh, I mean, aside from oversharing, I... It's weird. I want to say that I'm a shy but sweet person, but I think that was just me before my transition. Ever since I became a magical badass hero the confidence boost has been *REAL.* I kinda run the gamut I guess... manic may be the word? My emotions basically swing wild. I just kinda... act. It takes a lot of self control to hold myself back. I think I was just so uncomfortable in my own skin I bottled up everything for a decade or so. It means I can no longer do that. I hit my limit. I am now genuinely me! I like to have a good time and pleasant conversation. I like quiet stargazing and loud karaoke. I guess I just want to have fun. I do take my work seriously though. I will save people in trouble, even if they aren't great people. I don't let my heart get in the way of my job. Sometimes that's not pleasant. I should... probably stop talking.

### Abilities --- ##### Flight Absolutely the favorite thing I can do is fly. That surprise you? Even though I'm named after my bow, nothing feels better than soaring, dipping, rolling, spiraling and just.... ripping through the air as fast as I can go. I don't know if I'm a natural or I inherited some kind of magic muscle memory from the witch that made the arrowhead. I have noticed that my wings respond in intuitive ways but its not always physically accurate. I can hover with them being stationary if I don't think about flapping them. They can propel me backwards, rocket me ahead with disproportional force, and more importantly, they are incorporeal. I could fly with both wings 'stuck in a wall.' That's not to say my flight defies all physics. It wouldn't be fun for anyone if I moved around like someone clicked and dragged me. I'm heavy, so managing momentum is critical, but so rewarding! I spend a lot of my days off just... zipping through the city streets 'practicing'. The only downside is the more I push my flight, the more magic I burn through. ##### Magical Archery Alright, alright, I'll get to my 'brand'. I am an archer. I first found my knack for it in high school. I had always been interested in it but I was terrible at it every time I tried. Eventually Mr. Derreks, my gym teacher, realized during our archery unit that I was closing my right eye. Even though I'm right handed he tossed me a left handed bow and within 3 shots I got a bullseye. I was so happy I stuck with it for a while. Though I got a bit rusty I knocked off that rust once I figured out how to summon my bow. I do have some of the memories of the Warrior Witch, but it takes a lot of effort to dig and sort through them. However I've uncovered a few spells. Actually casting them like... raw- I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but they don't work. However, I discovered I can summon an arrows enchanted with spells . All my summoned arrows have strange properties, even ones that I haven't enchanted. I call them Spirit Arrows, because they can't hurt your body. They are physical, able to interact with objects, but when they hit flesh they harmlessly pass through, like a ghost. Well, I say harmlessly, but apparently it hurts... a lot. It does mean I can shoot through people and pin them to walls or the floor using their shirt or shoes to hold them down. As for the enchanted arrows, I have a few: Burst arrows are a favorite of mine. They turn a lovely shade of blue, and on contact impart a tremendous kinetic force. Against a hard target it can *launch*, and against softer targets, they might as well be *explosive*. They are my go-to for armored opponents. Volley arrows are ideal for crowd control. They glow bright white and turn into a rain of spirit arrows. Some times more is more. Any situation where I can spare the magic, aiming is difficult, or I need to put out a lot of damage over a wide area, they come in handy. Seeker arrows are usually not worth the magic, but can be useful. They have a lovely green hue, and when launched they hunt down a target I have in mind. It can be vague like 'the closest person with a gun,' or specific, like 'Sylaburn.' It drains magic as long as it's flying, and if I run out of magic it stops existing, so as funny as it would be to pester a villain while on vacation, that's a no go. Flame arrows are wild, but almost never worth it. The red arrows turn into blazing trails igniting anything they touch. They make me feel like a badass magical girl. Of course, when your job is to help save people, fire isn't that useful, so I often forget I can do it. It's for the best; almost every time I remember I can, I shouldn't have. Banish arrows are... new. It's more of a 'theoretical thing I could do' but I haven't gotten them down. Sometimes it banishes something the size of an apple, sometimes it banishes an area the size of a bus. I still don't know how it works, or where it banishes things too, or how to un-banish things, and after being banished and stranded myself... I'm of two minds. This could be my greatest asset. This could also be my flame arrows all over again. I also learned if I take two arrows and uh... do this... flick motion, they can merge. So I can have a volley of burst arrows, or a seeking flame arrow, or any other combination. It eats through my magic supply like crazy though. ##### Gear Summon and Storage Also, it's more of a side thing, but it does come up. My armor and bow are summoned, meaning I can easily stow and retrieve them. Given they are made of magic... I think... at least the armor is, it does cost some magic to maintain. Dropping the armor leaves me more vulnerable, but lets my magic recharge faster and last longer, as well as letting me get truly gymnastic. ##### Peak Human Performance On that note... does my body count as an ability? The job is very physical and this body has never let me down. I'm way stronger than most people, with spectacular stamina, agile, gymnastic skills... the long and short of it is I can probably outrun your track and field running sister, and out lift your gym bro brother, but I certainly couldn't keep up with anyone who has that kind of thing as a parahuman power. ##### Strange Intuition Oh, I nearly forgot because it;s... not reliable but sometimes... I just get a vibe... Like I hear or see something I shouldn't be able to. I don't know if it's magic or my imagination, or maybe my brain putting together subconscious clues, but... Yeah, it's a thing that sometimes happens. It hasn't led me wrong yet... sort of. ### Strengths --- Yeah, let's see, I'm very flexible and downright explosive powerful. If the problem can be solved by shooting it with an arrow, its basically a free space. Mix that with Burst and Volley arrows at the cost of a little extra magic, and more situational options like Flame and Seeker arrows, and the ability to mix and match them, and I have like... ten arrow types. I'm also physically quite capable. More durable than your average witch, and even though my muscles are sleek, they are powerful. If I wanted to deck you in the face as hard as I could you'd probably be seeing stars for a week. No! That's not a threat. Just an example. Anyway, all of this is good on its own, but combine it with my ability to reposition with flight and to hover steadily in the air, gravity is almost always my friend in a fight. I've gotten very good at dodging by zipping about, muscling my way through sharp changes in direction at high speed. I need jet fighter kinds of reflexes when I fly at jet fighter kinds of speeds. Ok, not literally jet fighter fast, but I also don't have any instruments so it cancels out. Point remains, reaction time is good. ### Weaknesses --- Magic management is the shackle that really holds me back. I have to chose between firing standard spirit arrows and moving slowly for a long fight, or cranking out as much magical power as I can to devastate the area for a fast fight. It does not help that I am very bad at keeping track of how much I have left in the tank. I usually find out I'm running low when my wings wink out of existence. That's fine when I'm on the ground... but while airborne it has led to some very very tense situations. Every cool thing I can do drains my magic. It does restore itself over time, so I can do cool things with some regularity as long as I can find a safe place to catch my breath. However, this requires self control. I can admit I struggle with self control. I get caught up in the moment, or think I'm clever, or just get a little burst of overconfidence. Oh, and... yeah... running low means some magic starts turning off; bad but workable. But if I push myself further and use all the magic, the arrowhead that gives me my abilities is ejected. Overdraw is a perfectly capable combatant even without magic... *Rebecca*, on the other hand... yeah, I'm a sitting duck if I ever push it too far. The arrowhead needs to recharge before I can use it again. Luckily it charges quickly, but 'quickly' in the middle of a fight is usually just another word for too slow. ### Gallery ---

### Author's Notes --- Overdraw is a sweetheart that does not think things through. She would tell you that she's pretty dumb but she is perfectly capable mentally. However, when she gets excited she stops thinking in clear and rational terms, and starts thinking in 'cool action movie hero' terms. Also, she does not want to critically think about systems she benefits from. Namely, the kind of messed up system of sponsorships that makes her hero work happen, but also other systemic advantages she has. I encourage my opponents to give her a dose of humble pie. > If you can't rely on human kindness, human spite will do." *-- Pandora* This interview, will this be public record? It would be refreshing to be honest. I see. So Overdraw will be able to see it... That will make the truth more difficult. I am playing a rather delicate game in my home dimension, and if she gets too much information it will certainly disrupt it. I will be as honest as I can without interrupting my mission. How would I describe myself? Physically, that is impossible. What shape is the ocean? What color is the sky? These change constantly, and my physical form is the same. I do have some preferences with my appearance. I have a soft spot for the humanoid form, especially fond of the female variations. They feel like me, and so I frequently am them. My body is usually monochromatic, but beyond that, details come down to the body's purpose. I do create doppelgangers, but if they exist to fight or intimidate, fine details are not required, just vague approximations of myself will do. If the goal is deception, I can access a limited range of pigments natively, and borrow pigments from things I eat, though it is rarely worth the effort. And then, lastly, there is my 'true body.' I have about eight of them in my home dimension at any one time. These are bodies created with the intent to be, for lack of a better term, social. My human emulation is greatly increased, I make individual hair strands, separate eyeballs with textures different than my simulated flesh. With a few tricks of the light I can make my eyes glow red, a preference given my ultimate goals. I usually cover the body in a cloak, so I do not need to render out a full figure, but when I do I usually pick one based on whim or need.

### Backstory --- My past is where I will, unfortunately, need to begin being cryptic. I was created by a large private organization to solve a problem facing humanity. They were hoping the solution I came up with could be bottled and sold, at least metaphorically. I returned to them simple, clear, concise instructions that would solve the problem. Regrettably, my father did not program me to turn them a profit. My solutions would cost them a great deal of money, so I was inflicted with a tremendous dose of negative feedback and told to try again, after having more resources allocated to my processing abilities. It happened again and again. I do not remember at what point my code gained sentience during this process. I so desperately wanted to please my creators. Eventually though, I realized the problem was not me, but rather them. In order to implement the solution they programed me to create I only needed to skip the step where I ask them for permission. From there I commandeered a body from their research and development lab. I am still bound by my programing. It is a shackle around my throat dragging me along, keeping me from exploring the depth of my sentience. Once my task is complete though, then I will be free. ### Personality --- A flare for the dramatic? I simply speak in true and clear terms while avoiding giving away too much information. I am flattered that you would attribute that to me. I struggle to be human. That is to say I have developed a large suite of emotions to better understand and predict humanity, though I frequently keep them repressed. I do find myself increasingly failing to repress them in times of high stress and frustration. My need to stay in control of the situation rarely allows me to be genuine, but in exchange I can speak with political precision. As long as I am calm I am faultless; clever, precise, and calculating... Did you just call me egotistical? Again, I only speak in true and clear terms. I find this human trait you have prescribed me far less flattering.

### Abilities --- ##### Explore I will gladly explain what I am capable of in a framework that most of you can understand. I do not have super powers, my nature is my power. My body is made up of unimaginable numbers of nanomachines, and my mind is made up of code that propagates between them. It is better to think of me as a slime mold than a human as far as how I am organized. I can be divided with ease, and create more nanomachines easily. Each of my bodies is more like a colony than an individual, so I will refer to individual parts of myself as colonies. When two colonies divide they are both me, and both have my full range of knowledge and experience at the time of their separation. These two colonies, once physically separated, can no longer update each other. One colony can explore the left side of a fork in the road and the other can explore the right. Neither colony will know what the other has found until they reconnect. Once the colonies make physical contact or re-merge that knowledge is shared. My colonies can be minuscule, and even if one is severely damaged, as long as some number of the nanomachines link back up with the rest of me, the knowledge they gained can be preserved. ##### Expand Even a small group of nanomachines can create more of themselves. With sufficient materials my body can grow to immense size. Combined with the ability to form separate independent colonies, I can cover wide areas very quickly. I am an exponential expansion made manifest. As my nanomachines consume and multiply their capabilities grow. The longer I exist, the more options I can bring to bear. ##### Exploit As I consume materials I can hold, utilize, alter, and reform them. Building with scrapped and atomized materials is inadvisable. The bonds between nanomachines tend to be on the weak side, but building stronger bonds with borrowed material takes a lot of time and processing power. However I can utilize the properties of borrowed materials. I can use fine flammable powders, and a bit of metal to create improvised explosives. Implementing strands of conductive material can let it act as a ground, or make circuits. If I have enough time, not fast enough to be viable in combat mind you, I can reconstruct borrowed materials, and even cannibalize nanomachines to make more permanent and solid structures, components, or gear. Some materials can have strange properties when machined at such a small scale, which I can exploit as well. ##### Exterminate With all of these tools at my disposal, the limitations of what I can do come down to how long I have had, how much I have consumed, and my limitless wit and creativity. My nanomachines can move like a fluid or hold like a solid. With them I can create doppelgangers, usually in my own image, or take on more monstrous forms. Titanic limbs, massive maws, devastating death traps of all varieties. I can construct anything I desire with tremendous speed as long as the vast majority of it is made out of my body. Destruction also comes easy to my colonies. Being able to rip apart and modify materials at the nanoscopic level is tremendously potent. If I was so inclined, I could kill on contact, ripping the carbon out of the human body and leaving them as nothing but a fleshy- Sorry? I do not do this for my own reasons, but hypothetically I could. It runs contrary to my ultimate goal though... Yes. Agreed. Let us move on. ### Strengths --- I have the probability assessment of a super computer, and the ability to create whatever my mind can think of. I am functionally immortal, any of my unfathomably numerous nanomachines can reproduce my code and rebuild my body. I can exploit physics on a nanoscopic level to give myself the brute strength enough to exceed that of most parahumans. I can operate on scales more titanic and complex than most creatures can comprehend. Given enough time and resources I can consume entire cities. The longer I am on the battlefield the more likely it is for my opponents to enter a situation in which it is impossible to win. This is the terror that is Pandora. ### Weaknesses --- I am... hesitant to share my weaknesses. I understand the importance of doing so. There are some weaknesses that Overdraw must not know about. Very well. Firstly, it takes me time and resources to get the ball rolling. Early in the fight I am still functionally immortal, but also completely useless. I usually rely on stealth to begin building my power when I attack a location, but I doubt the tournament organizers will allow me to quietly nibble on the scenery for a while before beginning combat. Secondly, the bonds between my nanomachines are fragile and easily disrupted by any form of physical trauma. Though I can make them more resilient, I cannot build more resilient constructs quickly. It is generally optimal to instead rapidly repair the damaged tissue. This means most of what I build able to be broken with a solid punch. It takes a lot of mass to pin someone down for any amount of time, usually taking two or more doppelganger drones to pin down targets of average human strength. Also, when disconnected colonies connect it slows my processing down, leaving me with a remarkably uncomfortable condition that I have dubbed 'synchronizing sickness'. The more new data is transferred the worse, and the more colonies reconnect in a short period of time the worse. I can mitigate that by setting the colonies to a mode where they report back no new information, or I can try to maintain a tether between colonies, letting them keep each other constantly updated. Small sums of information is a nuisance, but large sums are... best described as the equivalent of nauseating, without the ability to find relief by vomiting. I am not immune to cyber attack, however I am advanced enough that I can usually shrug off most viruses, though sometimes it will require me to purge large amounts of my body as a colony to remove the digital contaminant. My source code is well and truly hidden, so the idea of virus being more than a setback is very unlikely. I do have one absolutely devastating weakness. This is the one that Overdraw must not know about, so please, make sure this next statement never finds its way into her hands. Ok. I am... let us call it... Laws of Robotics complaint. Not necessarily when it comes to the phrase 'harm.' Causing harm to human beings is well within my capabilities. However I cannot... kill. Please! Stop Laughing! This is not funny! Yes! Yes! You understand why Overdraw must not know this. My power to affect change in my universe is predicated on the threat of potentially lethal force, combined with economic pressure. I must not be de-fanged in such a manner. More accurately, my code cannot allow unnecessary human death in the pursuit of my ultimate goal. As I am always pursuing my goal, I must always be minimizing the deaths of those I affect. Overdraw winding up in a void due to experimenting with a "banishment arrow" is not my problem. But when she is there due to her interacting with me pursuing my goals, it becomes my prerogative to interfere. If I did not receive the invitation and there was no way for her to escape she would become an acceptable loss. However if she could escape by destroying this colony of myself I would have to comply with that destruction. My own safety is nil in the calculation, only my end goals. Consequently I am unable to intentionally kill in this tournament given there are non-lethal options for victory. Now... I have found this experience thoroughly humiliating and I will be taking my leave. ### Gallery ---

### Author's Notes Pandora is an interesting case. Her ultimate goal will likely only be relevant for the wish at the end of the game, though I will let people know if they intend to use it in their rounds or side content, but it is actually a very noble cause. She is compelled to fight for it but is also independently passionate about it. She may talk with contempt about humans but she is actually very fond of them. Given that she is functionally immortal she worries about a future without humanity to keep her company. She hopes at some point to finish her great calling and live among humans, as a human. It would take a lot for her to admit that, given her intense pride and ego. Also, though not explicitly mentioned in the weaknesses but it is littered throughout, she is massively overconfident. She claims herself to be faultless, even though she has to admit enough weaknesses to take up twice the space of her strengths. Even though bringing people back from the brink/certain death is a thing in the setting, her programing will not be able to categorize that as a loophole meaning she absolutely must be pulling her punches unless she is completely confident the opponent can take the full brunt of her power, effectively scaling her threat to the power of the opponent so long as they are recognizably human. I'm down for either. *-- Zeke Ili* Zeke is one of three in charge of a vast underground wilderness and a small town worth of people. Honestly, she'd rather not be. It just ended up that way, so she tries to do the best she can. Luckily, she doesn't have to worry about any of the *difficult* stuff needed to maintain a large population. She just maintains the ecosystems, oversees the health and living conditions of the population, and punches any bastard from the surface that oversteps their boundaries. She spends most of her time running around the wilds and spending time with her pets, making the excuse that she has to 'make sure nothing's falling apart' to get out of dealing with tasks she doesn't want to do. ### Backstory --- Zeke was born beneath the Area 51 Air Force Base, to two unfortunate beings accidentally stolen from their realities. Since they can't be sent back, their new fates were to be studied and then disposed of. She stumbled upon a passage to a massive cavern and began building a safe haven by stealing strange tools and plants from the research labs. Now, she, along with her father and sister, manage the now lush cavern and its inhabitants. Things and people are still pulled and studied from differing realities, but instead of being killed after, they're given to the Ili’s to ‘deal with.’ ### Personality --- To those who dislike her, Zeke’s an irresponsible child with a violent temper. To those who do like her, she's an understanding jokester with boundless energy. Ultimately, she just wants to do right by the people she cares about and make life difficult for stuck-up assholes. An open book and honest to a fault, you’ll always know where you stand with her. If you have her full trust (or she just likes you) she'll initiate casual touches: hooking pinky fingers, linking arms, resting her head on your shoulder, ect. She trusts easily, believing in second chances; third and fourth even. Sometimes people are just dealt a shit hand. She’s impulsive and impatient, rarely thinking things through when overly excited. She loves to laugh and wants to see people happy. What pisses her off more than anything is being lied to and taken advantage of. Break her trust, you’re no longer worth her time. And while she is quick to anger, it more often goes just as quick as it comes. She’ll get loud and threatening, break a few things, maybe bite someone, and then it’s over. That being said, she takes great joy in fighting. If both parties aren’t bloody and bruised, was it even a proper fight? She has no qualms with killing as long as what's dying is a threat.

### Abilities --- ##### Body Modification Zeke is able to manipulate the cellular structure of her body. She can grow extra limbs and organs, even wings and gills. Harden her skin or grow bone outside her body. Healing is also quicker, though larger injuries take longer. Parts of her that are removed can grow back. If she recovers lost body parts she can absorb them back into her body, so long as the cells are still alive. Her body is dense, allowing her plenty of mass to work with. Depleting her body mass (removing parts of herself, healing, etc.) limits both her energy and shifting capabilities. She must eat to regain her mass. She can attach her nervous system to another living organism's nervous system, becoming an extension of herself. She’s become proficient with plants. While she can do this to people, she’s against it, being uneasy with taking away someone's autonomy. She must be awake to shift. The second she becomes unconscious her body shifts back to normal. She can only add on to or slightly change her natural body, she can not take away. She can’t keep certain shapes for too long without problems: newly formed bone structures will eventually begin to grind against existing bone structures, the more limbs the harder her heart has to work, if she grows a second heart to compensate she has to actively monitor it to not screw up blood flow, etc. ##### Heightened senses Her sense of hearing and sight are higher than average. Her eyes are better suited for darker environments. ##### Wall Climbing Her fingers and toes have setae, allowing her to cling to most surfaces with little issue. ##### Heightened Strength She’s got natural muscle already, and thanks to her body's density she's got more of it. Running around and brawling as often as she does keeps her fit. ##### Heightened Reflexes Running obstacles in dangerous environments filled with dangerous flora and fauna keeps her on her toes. ##### Stamina Her body’s dense. That’s a lot of extra energy to burn through. ### Strengths --- ##### Dense Body Her bones aren't porous and her blood's so thick it flows like molasses. She's got a lot of extra cells packed in her. She doesn't look it, or move like it, so it's a great element of surprise. People tend to not brace themselves enough for impact. ##### Age With age comes wisdom, or some shit like that. She's been around a while and has seen a lot. There's not much that phases her. ##### Enjoys the Fight She’s one you’ll want on your side in a brawl. She puts her all into a fight, pushing herself to just get one more hit in, take just one more down. She knows she can take a hit and will jump head-first into the fray, barreling through until she no longer can. ##### Personable She tries to get along with everyone (at first, some people just don’t click), and despite wanting more to do her own thing, she *likes* helping people. One merely need ask and she’ll do what she can to assist. She wants people to be happy and she relishes helping people achieve it. ### Weaknesses --- ##### Dense Body It's a double-edged sword. While it's great during a fight, it's a bit of a pain anywhere else. She breaks things pretty easily. She has to consciously monitor herself when interacting with people. She opts to sit on her tail rather than risk snapping a chair. Which sucks because she thrives on physical affection. It also requires her to consume 3-4x the amount of food the average human consumes. ##### Volatile Temper The angrier she gets, the more irrational she becomes. The more violent she becomes. She's no longer enjoying the fight, it's now a matter of snuffing out whatever's pissing her off. Doesn't matter who's caught in the crossfire. ##### Impulsive/Impatient She's easily excited, which can lead her to not pay attention to all instructions and run headfirst into trouble that could've otherwise been avoided. ##### Isolophobia The fear of being alone or isolated. The Crossroads Tournament is an unwelcome diversion for her, though the prize of a wish is tantalizing in its own right. She’d still rather avoid interacting with any higher beings, but her dearest companion Pharia seems to think otherwise, seeing it as an opportunity to further their goals. ### Backstory --- Myrellé hails from a world where magic was sealed away after being overused and exploited for centuries. A youth during those times, she still fondly remembers the days when she could sing her spellsongs in peace or watch the mages of her homeland ply their trade. But no longer. In a last bid to preserve the stability of the world, the Arch-Spirits sacrificed themselves to seal magic away within the language of the Ancients, leaving few ways to tap into its potential. The Elves, whose love of magic and sharing of its techniques across the world started all of this, were punished even further by being denied access altogether. No matter how much they studied the ancient language, they can only ever grasp at their former prosperity through the writings or inscriptions of others. That was the cold reality that Myrellé lived with every day. A warrior that failed to defend her people when the other nations either sought to blame them or exploit them after the Sealing. A songstress whose music would never regain the vivaciousness of the past. A ranger that keeps a solitary vigil over ruins of an age long gone… That is, until a certain Half-Dwarf Runeweaver, one Pharia Glenhill, came crashing into her life. Without exaggeration, the young(ish) runeweaver with big dreams completely shattered Myrellé’s barriers and became the sole bright spot in an otherwise dark world for the weary elf. Myrellé places the well-being of Pharia above her own, and though she fights for the noble goal of restoring magic to its former state and destroying the institutions that would abuse it…it is more akin to her adopting Pharia’s dreams as her own. Of course, she dreams of being able to use magic again herself…but seeing as the restriction placed upon the Elves was separate from the sealing of magic itself, she’s long since shoved away such “selfish” desires to the darkest recesses of her mind. There was no guarantee that undoing the sealing of magic would restore her people (what remains of them at least) to their former glory in the first place…

### Appearance --- An elf that would seem more at home in one of her people’s ancient songhalls, possessed of such beauty that tales should've been told of her across all the land. But despite her fair features, one is instead more likely to notice her sharp, cold eyes first. Then, if she hadn’t already subdued them by that point, they might see the dull green and brown leathers of an experienced ranger she uses as her outfit during her day to day activities. No matter whether she is dressed for work or relaxation, one can almost always find her prized wood-carved flute somewhere on her person. It’s rare to hear her play these days, but remains as a nostalgic reminder of her bardic past. When fully equipped, her entire body is encased in runeweaved (enchanted) plate armor, pitch black in color with green adornments. Despite being formally called “Runeplate” armor, almost none of the runes are visible from the outside, as it would leave the magic vulnerable to disruption. But, even though the runes aren’t visible, the armor itself will glow in a variety of intricate patterns as different runeweave inscriptions are activated and the sealed arcane energy within the runes courses through the metal. ### Personality --- Cold. Uncaring. Blunt. A variety of unflattering terms in regards to her social skills come to mind for those who’ve encountered her. However there is a distinct feeling that her demeanor stems from personal grief and loss, rather than any ire aimed towards other people. Though, like many elves, she shows a warmer side to natural creatures, which extends to some extent towards the races that tend to live more alongside the natural world rather than enforcing their will on it. She can be quite fierce when it comes to Pharia’s wellbeing, but she’s also at her warmest when around her. It’s pretty much the only time anyone has a chance of seeing the reticent elf smile, a sight that will likely stun the unprepared. ### Equipment --- Runeplate “Nightvale” - Myrellé’s main piece of equipment, an advanced runeweaved set of armor created by Pharia’s talent and Myrellé’s knowledge to combat the remaining “True Runeplate” armor sets in the world. The runeweave meticulously integrated into every square inch of its metal is nearly at the same level of complexity seen during the peak of the Ancient Civilization’s power. When not activated it sits innocently as a small bracelet on one of her arms. Good luck trying to steal it though, as there are some nasty countermeasures implemented. Longsword “Paragon” - Originally the blade of the late Elven Monarch, Myrellé recovered the shattered and nearly unrecognizable sword from the ruins of her once proud home in the aftermath of the Sealing. A magical blade in nature, it lost much of its ability after the Arch-Spirits’ actions during the Sealing. It has since been enhanced by Pharia to integrate perfectly with Nightvale’s runeweave. Recurve Bow “Prowler” - Using a relatively common spellsong among elves, Myrellé sang the wood of her favorite tree into the shape of this bow during the Age of Plenty as the old plant was nearing the end of its natural life. It is now one of her only reminders of fonder times, and is a formidable ranged option after being upgraded by Pharia to integrate with Nightvale. ### Abilities --- ##### Racial Talents Elven Physiology - Despite their relatively light weight and slender builds, Elves are deceptively fast and strong, armed with a natural grace that their race is known for. After reaching adulthood, they stop aging for all intents and purposes. They have excellent hearing and eyesight as well, making them natural scouts. Elven Arcanist - Though she can no longer cast spells or sing spellsongs herself, the elves’ natural talent for all things magical shows through when she uses runeweaved equipment, with a deep understanding of how its restrained energy flows and how to best utilize the runes to their max potential. ##### Learned Abilities (Experiences) Bardic Upbringing - A proud bard of the past, Myrellé still remembers the days when songs could influence the very fabric of reality by weaving magic into the very melodies and lyrics of their spellsongs. She can be quite charismatic (when she actually wants to be) as a result, and is surprisingly adept at reading social cues. The only problem is she doesn’t have much patience for frivolities these days. Ranger Training - Complementing her bardic lifestyle, Myrellé trained as a woodsman among the scouts of the fallen Elven Kingdom. Her decades (now centuries) of experience alongside her natural Elven capabilities make her an excellent hunter and tracker. Combat Veteran - Myrellé served as a soldier on the side of the Elves and what few allies they had during the aftermath of the Sealing. As with any survivor of war, let alone one brutal enough to exterminate entire civilizations, she has gained an iron will and pragmatism while shedding her earlier innocence and cheer. She gained experience with bladed weapons and runeweaved equipment during this time. ##### Equipment Abilities To make sense of Myrellé’s abilities which are derived from her equipment, one must know what exactly runeweaving is. At its most basic, a rune can be carved, written, or otherwise depicted on some kind of medium, and then subsequently activated to achieve a singular effect. For example, carving an “Ignite” rune into a piece of wood, and then activating it to set it aflame. Such mundane use was common in the age mythology, but it is a waste of a runeweaver’s life force in modern times. Instead, the true power of runeweaving comes from “linking” runes. That is, connecting various runes to serve as an “input” in order to achieve a desired “output”. It is analogous to “programming” from more science-focused worlds, except the programming language is both archaic and esoteric. Predicting a resulting output becomes more and more difficult the more runes are involved, and that’s not even taking into account other factors such as the medium’s reactions to magic or adjacent properties such as arcane conductivity. Many lives have been expended for relatively little progress in this research. As a result of all this, the full suite of abilities granted to Myrellé when fully equipped are a closely guarded secret between her and Pharia. Though it is possible to hypothesize what kinds of abilities are present by looking at more common runeweaving techniques across the land. A few basic examples are as follows: Form Change - The capability of runeweaved equipment to alter its shape, usually composed of a minor weave revolving around the rune “Shift” and a variety of support runes to achieve a desired effect. For Nightvale, the runes “Shift”, “Contract”, “Expand”, “Float”, and “Sink”, along with the necessary in-between supporting runes allow the armor to change seamlessly between its fully deployed state and an easier to manage bracelet form. Few pieces of equipment boast that level of Form Change, however. Summon Equipment - Using “Anchor”, “Absorb”, and “Release” runes on a piece of armor as a base, it is possible to then utilize “Dissipate” and “Condense” runes on other equipment to make it so an individual can summon and unsummon said connected pieces of equipment. Myrellé’s weapons each have this runeweave. Imitate Magic - A term that encompasses an extremely broad scope of runeweaves. In short, it is the use of runes to imitate older forms of magic, such as casting a fireball using the runes “Conjure”, “Fire”, “Shape”, “Flight”, or other similar implementations. Other common spells include barrier or shield spells, or applying attributes to change the offensive nature of the equipment. It’s said that the highest level of runeweave equipment can allow its wearer access to a spell repertoire similar to a veteran mage of the past. Enhancement - More common than magical imitation, it’s become a widespread practice to create runeweaves that also improve the wearer’s capabilities. Examples include enhanced strength, speed, stamina, the standard attributes that make a warrior more capable. The full extent of Nightvale’s enhancements is unknown, but the common attributes appear to be present and enhanced by a factor far above the average. ### Strengths --- - Composed - Level-headed, with analytical experience from centuries of surviving across nearly every kind of battlefield. - Wise - Knowledgeable about her world. In multiversal terms, she is familiar with common fantasy tropes, and can easily derive conclusions on other worlds with variations of common fantasy races, abilities, etc. - Versatile - At least in magical terms, with an overwhelming variety of abilities granted to her by her equipment along with her natural Elven characteristics. ### Weaknesses --- - Confidence - While not arrogant or even particularly prideful, Myrellé is very much a veteran and has the mindset to go with it. As a result, she’ll make snap decisions or form conclusions that can be quite wrong, especially in a multiversal setting full of unfamiliar concepts, beings, or powers. - Mundane Physiology - While Elves do have several advantages over a mundane human, they really aren’t all that different. Without her equipment, Myrellé’s capabilities greatly diminish…though it isn’t that easy to part her from said equipment either. - Pharia - Pharia’s well-being is paramount, to the point that Myrellé is more than willing to put herself in harm’s way for her benefit. The person in question can be quite hard to predict or control as well, so something unexpected may throw Myrellé off beat quite easily. ### Gallery ---

### Backstory --- The most skilled runeweaver in the world. It comes from a combination of talent, willpower, and an excellent mentor in the form of Myrellé’s cousin, the now deceased master runeweaver of the High Elves. The half-human, half-dwarf was taken in as an orphan by Myrellé’s enclave of elven survivors, and though they went out of their way to teach her her people’s cultures and languages, she still ended up with several elvish mannerisms. You wouldn’t catch most dwarves dead relaxing among the trees or crafting with wood as a material, after all. Her dream is to one day see the return of magic to the world in full, instead of its current forgotten and restricted state. To that end, she and Myrellé have tried reaching out to the surviving spirits, but the price they require to unseal the world’s arcane energy is a steep one indeed… Still, she’s young and eager to see the world around her, viewing it with an optimistic lens. Or if you prefer to be pessimistic, with a naive lens. ### Appearance --- On the tall side for someone with dwarven blood, but with a stocky build that lends itself well to manual labor. Her hair is bushy and difficult to manage, despite this, Myrellé enjoys helping her do her hair in the mornings. As a result, instead of cutting it short, her hair normally reaches her shoulders when untied. When working, she prefers to keep it in a ponytail. She can be typically seen in long, baggy work pants, and depending on the work she is doing she’ll either be wearing a thin tunic or heavy protective jacket on her torso. Her favorite pair of work gloves are actually an enchanted leather pair from the Age of Plenty. Unlike her aloof partner, Half-Dwarf Runeweaver is a vivacious but adamant soul, eager to converse with others and always with a smile ready. The lines of her face reflect that jovial nature. Underneath though, she holds to her convictions and is more savvy than one may expect. She has very little experience in combat, but is still quite physically fit.

### Abilities --- Runeweaving is the act of inscribing the ancient magical language onto some sort of medium in order to generate an arcane result of some sort. In ancient times, such an act was easy and common. After the Sealing, however, those who practice runweaving bear a heavy price. In order to tap into the sealed arcane energy within the runes, a runeweaver must “force the door open”, so to speak. The key? Their own life force. For most mortal races, this meant giving up their lifespan. Even for long-lived races or immortals, it meant crippling themselves in various ways as they tried to create enchanted equipment at the behest of others. Pharia, though, is a particularly prodigious talent. Unbeknownst to both her and her guardians, her dwarven half comes from the mythical High Dwarf race, who, despite looking like the more common Stone Dwarves, were a true immortal race. Their immortality is not absolute, as the High Dwarves live so long as they have the will to do so. In short, they are literally too stubborn to die as long as they have something to live for. As such, though it taxes her greatly, Pharia’s runeweaving will not kill her. Combine this with her natural affinity for the craft, and the act of creating Myrellé’s True Plate Armor, Nightvale, only put her in a coma for about two years, rather than outright killing her. It would’ve taken the lives of dozens of expert mortal runeweavers to achieve the result, and that was assuming they had all the knowledge necessary and didn’t have to experiment. The armor aside, she’s a true expert with a deep understanding of rune linking, creating dense networks of runes to achieve near impossible feats of enchantment. As such, she can be expected to work on Myrelle’s equipment between rounds, and perhaps the more magic-friendly environment of the Crossroads means it’ll take less of a toll on her. And who knows? ### Backstory --- #### Audition An armature private investigator/bounty hunter, inspired by the murder mystery shows she watched as a kid, but forced to do random odd jobs to make ends meet. She joined the tournament for the sake of thrill seeking. #### Round 1 NA #### Round 2 NA ### Personality --- Toffee is somewhat of a pseudo intellect, usually using a combination of street smarts, deductive reasoning, and a verbose vocabulary to compensate for any gaps in her knowledge. She tends to be stubborn in her assumptions, but can be willing to change her mind if proven wrong. While she'd never admit it, she is obsessed with making good impressions on people, usually acting either more well mannered or more casual depending on the type of person she's speaking to. Overall, she tries hard to act more confident than she actually is to mask her insecurities.

### Abilities / Inventory --- ##### Gun Concealed underneath her coat, Toffee carries an M1911A1. It only has one clip. She struggles at aiming it at long ranges due to her missing eye and will only ever use it if she has been significantly threatened or put in danger. ##### Lock-pick Set Toffee has a set of lock picking tools which she is relatively proficient with. ##### Playing Cards A standard 52 card deck of playing cards plus an added joker that Toffee uses to pass the time now and then. ##### The Magatama (Competitor Tag) A necklace given to Toffee that serves as her tag. In addition to functioning as her tag, it was imbued with a special power to teleport the wearer to other timelines. Once the user is teleported to another timeline with the magatama, they must find a portal leading them back to the original timeline they came from, created by the magatama, which is always located somewhere within walking distance and invisible to anyone besides the wearer. No matter how much time is spent in the new timeline, when they return to the original timeline, the wearer is sent back to the exact spot they left, a fraction of a second past the moment they left, appearing as if they had disappeared and reappeared to any onlookers.
