A tempered heat, mixing concoctions with ease and grace. Her deep wine-red hair is tamed by a golden tie of impossible strength. Her pointed ears and horns, along with her underbite and lion's tail, put her oni heritage on full display. She wears the garb of a bartender, complete with an apron that pays homage to her family. She passes you over with barely a glance before condensing your soul into a concoction of spirits, sliding a glass to you as if it were nothing unusual.

---

Saki comes from a long line of brewers, and was slated to inherit the family business when the time came. However, Saki had been branching out with alchemy, and refining her recipes inspired her to strike out on her own. Not wanting to compete with her family's establishment, she sought a new location to open her first tavern.

A fated encounter with a celestial fox brought her to Crossroads. There, she brawled her way through the fabled tournament and earned a wish from the God Eater herself. Saki was granted what would come to be known as the Fox Den, fully furnished and stocked with everything she could possibly need.

Despite this grand achievement, Saki doesn't think much of winning the tournament. She sees it as a means to an end to earning the Fox Den, her true pride and joy. Due to this, Saki will not talk about her experiences as a competitor unless asked.

### Personality

---

Saki is rather nonchalant, an unusual trait for an oni like herself. She doesn't care who you are or what you've done, as long as you pay for your drink and don't cause trouble in her establishment. Having spoken to many eccentric folks in her time, Saki has plenty of stories to tell, and is willing to share the latest news or gossip with anyone willing to listen (and buy a drink, of course). She has a sharp wit and a dry sense of humor, but she genuinely enjoys conversing with her patrons.

This laid-back demeanor seems to be only surface-level, however. Inside is a fiery passion for destruction, and it's most evident when the Fox Den itself is threatened. Saki is all too eager to unleash this side of her onto a patron if they become too rowdy or dangerous (but not before politely excusing herself from any activity she may be engaged in). She is willing to heal them up afterwards, once they've learned their lesson.

##### Super Strength

Oni are naturally incredibly strong. This is very useful for hauling in shipments and dealing with rowdy patrons.

##### Alchemy

Saki also brews healing tonics and potions with restorative properties. She does charge for these, but past competitors agree that they are worth the price. These potions are brewed in a cauldron that was gifted to Saki by her parents. It is also capable of converting the various currencies that patrons bring to her tavern.

##### "The Good Stuff"

There are certain, special, potions that can fully restore someone from the brink of death. Saki will offer these free of charge, but does so very sparingly. They are difficult to create and she only has a few, but she also does not want anyone dying in her tavern. (That would be bad for business!)

*Note: Saki's potions are not allowed in the tournament itself, so no ordering to-go!*

### Job &amp; Skills

Saki owns and maintains the popular tavern known as the Fox Den. She also acts as a medic of sorts for competitors- though she is by no means an accredited doctor. Saki's solution to most injuries seems to be a good alcoholic drink (or a virgin one for the kiddos). That being said, she can easily sense one's drink preferences and craft them the perfect beverage. Making small talk comes naturally to her, and many years of chatting with folks from all walks of life has resulted in her not being fazed by much, often remarking that she has seen and heard everything by this point.

### Location

Saki can be found almost exclusively at the Fox Den, the ever-popular tavern for locals and travelers alike. Since it is always busy, Saki rarely ever leaves the bar. If she were to step away, it's most likely to take a very drunk Chiifu to her private apartment above the VIP lounge.

It is considered unwise to steal from the bar while Saki is away. She always seems to know when theft happens, and who was responsible. There are rumors among the regulars that she has eyes everywhere in the tavern, which may or may not be true.
