---

Corey's exact origins are unknown and subject to many theories and speculation. Some say he was injured in a war while others say he volunteered for an experiment. Regardless, he was found in a stasis pod and was freed from stasis shortly afterwards, being a pretty young fellow as well. He wondered around from place to place until he found Willie and Sheri, who shared a deep bond and friendship, with Corey joining Sheri's pirate crew and managed to find a found family. However, something happened which resulted in Willie leaving the crew.

### Personality

Corey does not speak much. If he does, it tends to be to people he knows. He is mostly quiet but doesn't mean any harm. Though he is a bit of a pushover when he's not surrounded by people he knows.

Sheri was born on a pirate ship and raised by a pirate crew. It was there where Sheri learned the ways of the pirates and quickly rose the ranks to become one of the youngest pirate captains anyone has ever seen. It was good for a while until Sheri's pirate ship was attacked. Despite fighting hard, the ship sunk and her entire crew went missing. Sheri was found on the beach severely injured, without an eye, and in a coma of sorts. She was put in a stasis tube so that she can recover. After getting out, she learned that she had gained new powers. Using these powers as well as her skills gained on the pirate ship, she managed to hold her own against many new threats and even managed to form a new crew, even though there was no ship this time.

Sheri is not a person who smiles at all. In fact, nobody even knows if Sheri has the ability to smile. She is a stern individual who tends to lash out when she gets too angry.

She is the main mechanic of a hero agency known as Eastside Heat, a group that focuses on being "hip" and "trendy", harnessing that mid 2000's cool/edgy vibes and energy

Born and raised up on Earth, Damaya stuck out of the group of neighborhood kids by being the only demonic one. Often getting shunned by everyone, she didn't have too many friends growing up, and due to her father having to constantly move for his job meant no one got to know her long enough until he finally quit when she was seven, and moved to Madison to be with Damaya's demonic mother and her auto shop. spending most of her days at the auto shop, she quickly got into cars and anything with an engine, shifting her school focus from culinary to mechanical with a side of programming. While in school, her father gained a new job, one that allowed his family to finally stay put. Everything would soon stop being fine once her father went to work one morning, and was killed due to gross negligence during a tornado. After her father's passing, Damaya changed her robotics' class final project for high school, modifying her caretaker bot project to be her personal robotic companion, uploading all of her recorded memories with her family into the swine-themed machine, giving birth to her iconic pal P3RLH4M. Once school was over, she wandered the town, her mind scrambled after her traumatic moment until she stumbling across an advertisement for parahumans to join the local hero agency. Gaining a moment of clarity, she took the ad, and began to apply at every nearby agency, eventually getting accepted into Eastside Heat, who were in desperate need of an onsite mechanic. Within her first few days, she had taken a F451 mech suit and heavily modifying it until she was caught by a few furious executives. Some of the heroes at Eastside, like their main star Airblade, managed to convinced the angered higher-ups to put Damaya on the hero roster instead of punishing her. The execs oblige, pulling Damaya from the engineering bay and moving her into active service, where she donned the name "Emberstorm" and quickly became a rising star, gaining immense popularity from civilians. She would never let the fame get to her head though, forcing herself to stay mostly humble while faced with her growing popularity, but she is always overjoyed to see toys of herself in stores. Lately, she works as both mechanic and hero, which occasionally messes with her sleep, but she enjoys her job too much to complain about it.

### Personality

---

Damaya is a hyperactive and friendly gal, though is often distracted by the world around her. She is never still, constantly moving in some way, either by tapping her feet, or by chatting 24/7. This Demoness is almost always cheerful, always having a smile on her face, even while facing up against a dangerous criminal or having a bad day, only ever breaking the constant cheer when someone dare harms her robotic pet pig, where she gets incredibly angry. If enough harm comes to her pet, she will drop both her friendly attitude and her chatty nature, going silent and letting her flaming fists doing the talk for the rest of the conversation. Outside of the rare times she is a furious firestorm, Damaya is always willing to chat, beaming with positivity as often as possible, and always trying to find the good in everyone

##### Pyrokinesis

Due to Damaya's demonic heritage, she is gifted with pyrokinesis, allowing her to create and control fire. She displays incredible control of her flames, able to spark walls of fire within seconds. Damaya can ignite her body as well, causing her flaming abilities to improve drastically. The excess heat and fire is used to power her mech suit if its in working condition

##### Demonic Strength and Endurance  


Damaya's body is compactly built, muscles are condensed and appear small, giving the illusion that she's thin and weak. This is far from the truth. While she is unable to pull off amazing feats like lifting cars up by herself, or run for miles with no breaks, Damaya can still catch someone off by ripping off a car door clean off the rest of the vehicle

##### Portals

A unique power Damaya was born with is the ability to tear open a hole in space with a roar of flames, creating a portal, allowing her to move great distances with ease. Unfortunately she is still learning how to control it fully, leaving her stranded in the crossroads for now, and it's tied to her pyrokinesis, so if Damaya is ever hit with anything like the contents of a fire-extinguisher, she will be unable to escape easily until her powers recharge

From her demonic heritage, Damaya is completely immune to any and all fire attacks if she doesn't decide to manipulate them, adding more fuel to her own flames. She also has increased durability from being a cambion, allowing her to take more punishment from people before giving up. Her slim body is also quite agile and flexible, helpful for getting into tight spaces while fixing intricate machinery as well as dodging flurries of attacks, though her greatest strengths lie within her mech and her mind. Despite radiating complete clueless energy, she is surprisingly smart, to the point where it catches people off guard. While within her mech, her raw physical strength is greatly improved, allowing her to really throw some heavy punches, as well as vehicles, at her opponents

### Weaknesses

An unfortunate result of Damaya's hyperactive nature is that she is easily distracted by things, her attention often going elsewhere in battle if something even remotely interesting passes by. Damaya herself is like a fire, and with any fires, something sufficiently fire-retardant can stop her in her tracks. When exposed to certain fire-stopping chemicals, her powers will die down, and with constant exposure will cease to function temporarily, length of exposure needed and length of time with powers disabled varies depending on what puts out her flames, with the coolant for her mech needing only a second of contact time to switch her off, but only keeps her off for a second before she's ready to burn. The demonic origin burns strong within her, meaning any holy objects, like crosses and holy water, can cause great harm to her faster than any gun or superpower ever could. On the topic of her body, she is much less durable than her metal mech suit, leaving her as a squishy target whenever she is forced to emergency exit her suit, while the suit itself is pretty slow and clunky, forcing it to tank hits instead of dodging out of the way.

Perlham is a sentient bot made and maintained by Emberstorm/Damaya, modded to operate Damaya's F451 Mech suit. Perlham was first created by a 17 year old Damaya after the traumatic passing of her father caused her to shift her caretaker final project for high school in a different direction, repurposing it into an emotional support pet and important memory storage. As the years went by, Damaya constantly modified and improved Perlham, even letting his AI gain sentience and improve upon itself, creating a one-of-a-kind, sassy yet thoughtful personality. Once Damaya joined up with Eastside Heat, Perlham had another drastic upgrade, a massive update to his AI turned him into a fully functional combat AI, with several processors built to calculate the battlefield with quick efficiency, operate intricate mechanical weapons, and keep Damaya safe while fighting. The sudden change of pace fit the swine well, enjoying his new job as much as Damaya enjoyed it, the two of them working very well together, causing "Emberstorm" to be a rising star

### Personality

---

Perlham is quite sassy, but very caring to Damaya. While they do occasionally argue, he will often cuddle up to his owner afterwards, snuggling up close to be held. He takes his jobs, being a companion and combat AI for Damaya, VERY seriously, often being quite proud after defeating a tough opponent then plans how to win the next fight faster. He is quite curious about everyone he meets, waddling over to them and greeting them with an oink whenever someone catches his eye

##### The F451 Combat Mech  


Once Damaya was accepted into Eastside Heat, she immediately got to work modifying both Perlham and one of the agency's mech suits for the two of them to work together perfectly. When installed into the F451 Mech, Perlham is able to control the machine with ease, and operate the weapons built into the suit the instant Damaya needs them. Without his assistance, Damaya would be forced to fight a lot slower, and without Damaya, Perlham would be unable to use most of the mech's systems, which feed off of Damaya's flame, preventing him from flying within the suit, or being able to use 90% of the suit's attacks. He would still be able to punch, run, and throw things, meaning if the two got separated, Perlham would still be a force to be reckoned with

##### Flight

When disconnected from the suit, Perlham has four thrusters built into his feet, allowing him to propel himself quite far, allowing him catch up to people sprinting away, a situation that wouldn't be possible with just his stumpy little legs. It also allows Perlham to fling himself at an opponent, using his metal body to strike hard

##### Built-in Weapons  


When all else fails, Perlham has a few emergency weapons to use when not in the mech and forced to fight. The "Shocking Snoot" Twin Barrel Taser allows Perlham to fire two electrified projectiles before needing to reload, surprisingly accurate for such a short barrel to work with. The "Wiggly Whiptail" can be deployed by extending the length of his tail, and gives Perly access to quite a painful melee hit, as well as use it like a tripwire to knock people over.

### Strengths

Perlham's small body is composed of a dense, yet lightweight metal, allowing him to be quite agile when avoiding dangers, as well as being a perfect lap pet, while keeping the important tech nice and safe during the stress of combat. His combat AI upgrades allow him to scan the battlefield, and compile a list of all things that could be beneficial while detecting attacks and planning ways to block and counterattack. This upgrade also allows him access to piloting the mech, quickly activating certain systems when the time is needed or when Damaya calls out for a certain move to be used

### Weaknesses

---

Despite having such a sturdy body, and two different weapon systems built into his main unit, Perlham isn't built for combat while not piloting a mech suit. The Shocking Snoot needs to be reloaded often, and the Wiggly Whiptail, while able to cause some good pain, is more a utility than a super effective weapon. Perlham was also built without a proper voice, only able to oink, snort and use various other pig sounds to communicate. This isn't an issue to Damaya, who understands every single sound he makes, but everyone else is rarely able to understand him without Damaya translating or Perlham being hooked up to something he can write in or text-to-speech

Perlham mostly shows emotion for the LED screen he has on his face, displaying his eyes. this screen can also be used to play videos if needed, so if you want to use that for anything go ahead. He is usually near Damaya at all times, though may run off when tasty food is spotted, often causing Damaya to chase after him as he skedaddles away
