A divine being whose presence exudes power and seemingly bends the space around her. Her white hair frames her face and is pulled back high in a ponytail that seems to split into nine even "tails". She accessorizes with a scarlet flowers in her hair and hairpiece. She wears a short dress with tights, and long sleeves that bend the mind's belief. Her outfit and platform heels feature bells, which always announce her presence with their chimes.

Backstory

A formerly-average kitsune who bested a god and consumed them. After quickly becoming bored of immortality and absolute power, she settled down in an unknown land and built Crossroads-- a town meant to draw in people of various lands and create interesting scenarios for her to enjoy, especially with her personally curated Cross tournament. Variety is the spice of life, after all!

There is a secret about Crossroads, though-- a large, dimension-spanning one. The God Eater split reality into several dimensions to run concurrent tournaments. She's easily bored, you see, and simply one tournament wasn't enough to keep her entertained. The only other being aware of this is Miss X, as she is a sentient extension of the God Eater's parallel processing-- plus, it's nice to have a conversation partner.

Persona

The God Eater is elusive and quiet-- even the most keen observer will have a difficult time discerning her true emotions and expression. Her presence is fleeting, and she rarely personally intervenes in trouble unless it is necessary.

However, it is well-known that the God Eater loves the Cross Tournament and diligently attends each match, overseeing it from her throne. She leaves the duty of running the tournament to her right hand, Miss X, so that she can quietly enjoy the show with a small smile on her lips.

Author's Notes

The "Chiifu" persona demonstrates her true personality and attitude toward life. She's here to enjoy life in the present, and that involves having a flourishing community around her. The "God Eater" persona demonstrates her true power and origins. She clearly distinguishes between the two personas so that one aspect of her is not a detriment to the other. (Who would take seriously a goddess who constantly loves being drunk? Who would want to freely interact with a dimensions-bending deity walking among their midst?) Plus, it allows her to see the two faces that others frequently wear-- they mask they don when faced with authority, and the mask they wear when surrounded by friends.

The God Eater's backstory and abilities are intentionally vague for flexibility. Feel free to create stories embellishing on her supposed backstory to fit your story's needs. Her abilities are always just a touch above the rest-- she'd never let anything capable of besting her into her domain. It's also difficult to best abilities that aren't fully defined~
